Concerning cocaine use by Wall Street bankers and its role in the global financial crisis, Geraint Anderson writes the following on The Guardian:

Cocaine played its part in creating the bubble, but it would be foolish not to see the role greed, selfishness, ignorance, and ruthlessness played in the bankers (and others in the financial industry who contributed to the financial crisis) using cocaine in the first place.
